Inside the gym, the air was cool and smelled of dusty earth. Brock smiled, crossing his arms. "Welcome to the Pewter Gym! I am Brock, the Gym Leader. If you want the Boulder Badge, you will have to defeat my Rock-type Pokémon first. Are you ready?"

"We sure are!" Aiden shouted, stepping forward. "Go, Pikachu!" Pikachu leaped onto the dirt field, sparks crackling from his red cheeks. Brock smirked and tossed his Pokéball, releasing a massive, serpentine Onix made of giant grey boulders. The giant rock snake roared, shaking the entire gym.

"Aiden, Pikachu is hurt!" Aria cried, her eyes wide with worry. The electric attack had done nothing to the ground-type Onix, and the heavy tackle had left their partner exhausted. Aiden held Pikachu carefully in his arms. "We need to get to the Pokémon Center, fast!" they agreed, rushing out of the gym doors.

As they sprinted along the rocky path outside Pewter City, a sudden rustle in the bushes stopped them. Emerging from the tall grass was a beautiful, rabbit-like Selveon with fluttering ribbons, and sitting on a nearby boulder was a sleek, charcoal-gray Charizard with blue flames dancing on its tail. The two wild Pokémon looked at the kids, sensing their urgent need for help.

Nurse Joy smiled warmly and took Pikachu onto a soft, wheeled cart. "Don't worry, you two," she said gently. "Pikachu is in good hands. Rest here for a moment." Aiden and Aria sat on the comfortable benches, their hearts beating fast. Selveon nudged Aria's hand with its soft head, wrapping its pink-striped ribbon feelers around her wrist to comfort her. Charizard sat quietly nearby, the blue flame on its tail glowing softly.

After a short wait, a bell chimed, and Nurse Joy returned. Pikachu leaped off the cart, energetic as ever, sparks dancing happily. They were fully healed and ready to try again. Together with Selveon and Charizard, they formed a plan to defeat Brock's rock-solid defense.

Brock looked up, surprised but pleased to see them return so quickly. "Back for more? I like your spirit, but Onix won't go easy on you this time either!" he warned, stepping up to the battle arena.

"We are ready, Brock!" Aria declared. This time, they had a strategy. Since electric attacks did not work, they would use the elemental advantages of their new partners. "Charizard, you are up!" Aiden called out. Charizard roared, a stream of blue fire billowing from its mouth, stepping onto the rocky field to face the towering Onix once again.

Onix lunged forward, but Charizard flew high, dodging the heavy rock tail easily. With incredible speed, Selveon wrapped its strong ribbon feelers around Onix's boulder body, holding the giant Pokémon in place. "Now, Charizard, use your ultimate attack!" Aiden yelled.

Charizard dove from the sky, its charcoal scales gleaming under the gym lights. With one final, powerful strike, Onix was defeated, collapsing safely onto the dirt field. Brock recalled his partner with a smile of admiration. "Incredible teamwork!" he praised.
